Antúnez, Day Man
Painter born in Guazunambí (Cerro Largo, Uruguay) in 1917.
He studied with the master Joaquín Torres García.
He made study trips through Europe, Egypt and America from 1969 to 1970.
He taught in various institutes in the interior and in his own workshop.
Since 1962 he painted in Durazno, Paysandú and Salto (Uruguay), developing his theory in murals of diverse dimensions.
He exposed among other art centers, in Arte Bella and Galería Aguerre in 1968.
He died in Maldonado (Uruguay) in 1991.
