With the sponsorship of the Argentine Embassy, this first exhibition in Uruguay by the Argentine artist Leonardo Alessi is held. Alessi's originality lies in his own pictorial temperament, which made the critic Maurice Vallery write, in "Journal de L'Art de Paris, a valuable appreciation: "Alessi translates Bonnard's poetry to his personal rhythm of expressionist vibration, using the difficult path of the exaltation of color".
