Felippelli, Ruben
Born in Montevideo (Uruguay) in 1950 and since his youth discovered his art vocation.
Have the privilege of be a Navy engineer, so he was allowed travel all around the world and discovered different countries, landscapes and people. Traveled to Arab, Egypt, Japan, Russia, Canada, Canary Islands, Korea, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Holland, Poland, Africa, USA, Central America, Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay; achieved of this experiences the learnings of Museums and Cultural Centers.
Autodidact by vocation, incursioning in wood carves, but allways with his paint wishes, finally achieve it since 1992.
1992- Make his first formal steps at painting learning at the Obdulio Gómez Carrasco School (Uruguay).
- Take part at the Diálogo Group, manager by the writter Shirley Cotto (Uruguay).
- Take part at A.S.P.U. Group (United Artists Assocition) manager by the artists Alberto Lorenzo, Ruth Díaz de Devita and Mabel Centurión (Uruguay).
1995- Collective Exhibition with the Gómez Carrasco School at the Sorocabana Café (Uruguay).
1996- Individual Exhibition at the Diálogo Group (Uruguay).
1996- Collective Exhibition at the Casa de la Cultura del Prado with the Diálogo Group (Uruguay).
- Collective Exhibition at Kruger Hall with A.C.A.L. Literary Group of Montevideo (Uruguay).
- Exhibition at Nautilus Club and at the Tanguería of Ana Bonino (Uruguay).
